Free Hot Dog Day | Inner Richomnd
Frankenart Mart | 515 Balboa St. (@ 6th Ave.), San Francisco, CA 94118 No Comment
The Frankenart Mart is a quirky shoebox-sized art gallery in the Inner Richmond. Not only do they have curious one-of-a-kind interactive art exhibits, but once a month there’s free hot dogs all day. Sunday, January 3rd is the first Hot Dog Day of 2010.
See strange exhibits like Grandma’s Slideshow, eat your dog in Frankenart’s onsite Teepee, the expanded arterrarium, and the Vacation & Tourism Show (exhibit runs through January 31, 2010), but Free beef and veggie to all frankenart visitors bring your used security envelopes to add to Max’s vacation scene collage project. No gluing the hot dogs or the cats.
About Hot Dog Day: Every month, Frankenart Mart gives away free beef and veggie dogs to all visitors who want one. There’s a bit of a rivalry going on between the two – scorewise. Though veggie has come very close, beef has historically won out.
