Event Details

All are invited to hear lively insights from Rebecca J. Ennals, Artistic Director of the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival and the director of the Free Shakespeare in the Park production of ‘Romeo and Juliet’.

In this presentation, Ms. Ennals asks why audiences have been so attracted to this play for over 400 years. The presentation uses text from the play, read live by the actors, to demonstrate how the use of dualities in its dramatic structure, figures of speech, and characterizations add to its timeless appeal.

The presentation is a great preparation to seeing the performance, as well as an informative recap if you’ve already seen it. Show details may be found at www.sfshakes.org
