Event Details

Today is the day we celebrate women.  We have come a long way, and there is still a long way to go to show the impact women can in the health field.

In celebration of women and especially those impacting the Health Sector, we want to bring together our community and those that support us to mix and mingle for a fun Networking Happy Hour to meet other professionals in this space.

We Invite all professionals currently working in Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Biotech, Med Tech startups, Life Science Research, and other medical technologies to attend this evening of networking and interesting discussions. From serial medical device entrepreneur to curious new college grads, you all are welcome to come enjoy our supportive, empowering, and Badass group of ladies.

Please enjoy some light appetizers and specialty cocktails from our sponsor Recro Gainesville.

About Recro Gainesville.

The Gainesville facility was found in 1981 by Elan Corporation which became their first research facility in the US.  Elan managed and launched products from Gainesville until they diversified their network and transferred the facility to Alkermes in 2011.

The facility remained under Alkermes leadership until 2015 when Recro Pharma purchased not only the GMP facility but rights to many legacy Elan products. In addition to the continued manufacturing of these many well-known pharmaceutical drugs, the Recro CDMO Gainesville site also supports the contract development and manufacturing space to help partner drug development efforts with pharmaceutical and biopharma companies.

The expertise, unique to this site, consist of release profile development capabilities, DEA regulated clearance and strong regulatory support, which includes FDA interactions on behalf of sponsor companies.
