Event Details

Introduction to Disabilities is a workshop for parents, paraprofessionals, care providers, persons with disabilities, and community advocates.

In this workshop, attendees will learn:

  • How to apply for services such as MediCal, SSI, and Department of Rehabilitation services
  • How CCSF Disabled Students programs and services can assist students in transitioning to college and planning for employment and housing
  • Tips for advocating for yourself and others
  • Events for adults and children dealing with disabilities, their families, friends and allies.
