The Golden Gate Park Band plays a sunday tribute to Robert Emmet Day with an afternoon of Irish music, costumes, dancing and singing in the the Music Concourse of Golden Gate Park
Celebrating its 128th season, the Golden Gate Park Band has been gracing SF with free public concerts in the Park since 1882. Concerts are presented each Sunday, from April to October, at 1:00 pm in Golden Gate Park’s majestic Spreckels Temple of Music. Musical styles change every week and include Classical, Marches, Opera, Broadway show tunes, Swing and Ethnic Programs, which often feature dancers, costumes and guest artists.
