Event Details

Every year, the South Bay Islamic Center hosts an Islamic Art Exhibit inviting creative individuals to reflect on a given theme. In 2015, the theme is “Arabic; Language of the Quran” selected to highlight the rights, status and accomplishments of Muslim Women through visual arts.

The opening reception will take place from 5-7 pm on Saturday, April 4, 2015 and will feature guest speaker Muravit Benavidez, an Arabic language teacher.

Since 2009, IAE have provided a platform for creative individuals to share their work and through visual arts they hope to build bridges between diverse communities.
