Plan on spending your Independence Day in Civic Park, with a 6:00 p.m. free concert on July 4, 20234. The Walnut Creek Concert Band will play all the classics. Bring a blanket or chairs, and enjoy an evening of music and fun. Contra Costa County Fire Protection District wants to remind everyone that all fireworks, even sparklers, are illegal throughout the County. There are professional displays in some communities where fireworks can be viewed.

4th of July Concert in Civic Park

The best place to start off your Independence Day celebration is in Civic Park. The Walnut Creek Concert Band will provide the musical inspiration for your July 4 fun. Bring your family and friends for a picnic in the park for this free event. The Band kicks off the fun at 6:00 p.m.
