Sal Khan, author and founder of Khan Academy will be in conversation with Kishore Hari, director of the Bay Area Science Festival.

Khan Academy’s mission to give a free, world-class education to anyone, anywhere has breached the educational divide between poor and privileged and pioneered a transformation at the intersection of learning and technology. Starting only with an office in his Bay Area apartment, he now has over 4,000 video lessons in his online library, ranging from chemistry to history to finance.

The Commonwealth Club’s INFORUM will award this educational innovator with their 21st Century Visionary Award.
