KOFY TV’s ’80s Dance Party | SF

Dress up in your best ’80s outfit and hit the dance floor for KOFY TV’s Dance Party, a local ‘80s themed party taped in the KOFY TV studios in San Francisco. KOFY TV’s Dance Party airs Sundays at 8 pm.

On the day of taping, they usually tape three episodes.

Arrive early. Participation in each taping will be based on a first come, first serve basis.  Participants must be at least 18 years of age or older.

If you want to be one of their 3 contestants on the show who compete in various games throughout the episode in an attempt to be crowned the King or Queen of the episode and win a really cool prize, send an email to danceparty@kofytv.com with a picture of you in your best ’80s gear and tell them why you would make a great contestant.

KOFY TV’s ’80s Dance Party | SF

For the 12 pm taping, they’re bringing you haunted ghouls with all the best dance moves. The theme will be “Monster Mash Halloween Bash” featuring a spooky set-list of your favorite Halloween dance tunes. For this taping, they will only allow the first 75 people in full costume to be a part of the show. Attendees who arrive in standard ’80s attire or without a Halloween costume will not be invited into the 12 pm taping.

The 2 pm taping will be the normal ’80s themed Dance Party, so grab your leggings and Member Only jackets and be ready to dance your butts off to classic ’80s hits. ’80s attire is required.

For the 4 pm taping, they will be bringing you the best hits from 1980s movies. It’s “Attack of the 80’s Soundtrack.” They highly encourage dancers to dress as their favorite character from a 1980s film. ’80s attire is required.
