The KONO (Koreatown Northgate) Community Benefit District and Oakland First Fridays Street Festival invite you to the 2017 Korean Culture Fest which will be held on October 6, 2017, at the Oakland First Fridays event from 6 in the evening to 8 in the evening at the main stage at 27th Street and Telegraph Avenue.

Each month the Oakland First Fridays event has a celebratory theme as part of the event such as black history month, Girl Power, Pride month etc.

In October they will celebrate the Korean culture and arts with Korean performers which include traditional dancers from Korea, a Kuen Don martial arts demonstration, traditional Korean drummers, etc. They will also have Korean food vendors and arts and craft vendors.

This is a free, family-friendly event. All members of the community are invited to attend. No violence, no colors, no drama and no alcohol (except in their Sake Garden).
