Event Details

Witness the triumphant return of the Bad Art Gallery with an all new show of truly terrible art, selectively curated from the finest thrift stores, flea markets and dumpsters of the Bay Area. But wait, you’ll also enjoy short film screenings all night.

No guarantees what will be showing up at this art show (so don’t expect to see this weird Mona Lisa painting with his/her friends – that’s just what google showed us when we searched for “bad art.” But be prepared for some truly awful painting.

Meet this year’s filmmakers, enjoy some great short films, bad art, free tasty beverages and groovy tunes.

This is a free event and there will be:

  • Good short film screenings all night
  • Fun tunes DJ’d by IndieFest staffers Bishop and Junkyard
  • Tasty beverages on the house, courtesy of Lagunitas, Pabst, Tito’s, #209, Herradura and Pussers.

Co-sponsored by KQED’s Film School Shorts, meet the folks who put together the TV series for public media that airs short films throughout the country. Got a student film you want to submit? Bring your DVD to the party.
