From expanding sea otter habitat to protecting whales from sonar to regulating sardine fisheries, environmental laws have the power to help us protect ocean ecosystems from habitat fragmentation, pollution, and overfishing.
Join us for a lunchtime presentation by two lawyers from the public interest legal organization Earthjustice. We’ll explore significant legal cases about the California coast and how these fit into national and global strategies to combat the effects of climate change.
Free but an RSVP is required. Email reserve@exploratorium.edu, or call 415.528.4444 and choose option 5.
