Event Details

The SF Department of Public Works has teamed up with the SF Botanical Garden Society and SF Parks Trust to bring you free Saturday workshops to teach you everything you need to know to “green” your sidewalk.

We’ll give you step-by-step instructions to transform your sidewalk into a garden including permitting, designing and maintenance. We’ve got recommendations for trees and drought tolerant plants for sun or shade, and design ideas to boot.

Classes will be held Saturday mornings from February to November, 2011, from 9am -10pm at the County Fair Building at the San Francisco Botanical Garden. If you have any more questions, please contact project manager Mike Gonzalez at (415) 661-1316 x456.

Next Workshops: June 11, July 9, Aug 13, Sept 10, Oct 8 and Nov 12

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
