2015 Lighting of the 350 Year Old Oak Tree | Danville

Welcome in the holiday season in Historic Downtown Danville by coming out to the lighting ceremony of the Old Oak Tree on Diablo and Hartz Streets on Friday, November 27, 2015.

Families will gather on Diablo Road around the town’s landmark oak tree, which is more than 350 years old, and will enjoy entertainment from the local schools, musicians, and dance groups.

The merchants will be open late, offering hot cocoa, cookies and the opportunity to get a start on your holiday shopping. Stroll over to Danville Square on Railroad Ave and mail your letter to Santa Claus at Rakestraw Books.
