Event Details

In 2015, a community gathered over a novel idea. Throw a fancy “fundraiser” to raise awareness instead of money. They listened to powerful stories and promised to advocate for these issues by standing up to hate, ignorance, and misinformation.

Join them as they listen to three new stories on Islamophobia, Masculinity, and HIV/AIDS, issues most affected by the current administration. No PowerPoints. No scripts. Just storytelling on a mission.

This is a storytelling gala. Please dress nicely. It’s free, but an RSVP is required.

There’s free food and open bar, but this is a self-funded, grassroots events and donations are very much appreciated. All funds in excess will be divided among three awesome organizations to which each speaker is affiliated.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
