Litquake 2012

The 13th annual Litquake, features 163 events and more than 850 authors throughout San Francisco from October 5-13, 2012.

Litquake seeks to foster interest in literature for people of all ages, perpetuate a sense of literary community, and provide a vibrant forum for Bay Area writing as a complement to the city’s music, film, and cultural festivals. Most events are free and take place in San Francisco.

Masters of Flash | Litquake 2012

Discover flash fiction with a sampler of readings from seven beloved authors and teachers of the short-short form. Blending poetry and prose, these tiny, truffle-like stories are filled with a rare, delicious urgency. Moderated by Meg Pokrass, author of Damn Sure Right, a collection of flash fiction.
