Live Country/Folk Night with Jason Stevens | The Chapel

Perry Stevens is a country/folk singer song writer living in San Francisco. Born in Bakersfield California Jason grew up listening to the sounds steel guitars and country crooners, but drifted away from the country sound early in his youth. Now, after performing and writing songs for the past 6 years, Jason has come to appreciate and admire the music of his childhood.

Inspired by songwriters of the past, his songs are reminiscent of his favorite writers: John Prine, Johnny Cash, Merle Hagard, and David Allan Coe.

After a short hiatus, the Free Bar Shows in the Chapel Bar have returned. Music starts at 8pm, and drinks and food available for purchase. Here’s what we have coming up…

• Sunday, Aug 2: Jason Perry Stevens – country/folk guitar and pedal-steel guitar duo
• Tuesday, Aug 4: The Tedtones – Bay Area four-piece playing blues, roots and jive
