In the intimate atmosphere of a house concert, experience jazz, contemporary, and classical music, and enjoy opportunities to converse with performers and each other.Offered in partnership with the San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music.
Clarinetist and composer Ben Goldberg has been a central figure in the fringes of forward-thinking jazz since the 1980s, with tireless work linking the East Bay to the Lower East Side. His New Klezmer Trio marked a seminal moment in the development of a movement dubbed “Radical Jewish Culture.”
