The first teacher hired by the new SSF High School in 1913, “Cliffie” rode around town on horseback gathering signatures to build the Grand Avenue Library. Learn new information about this local legend and the family of adventurers and innovators from which she came from. Her contributions to education and the library continue to benefit everyone in the city today. Slideshow, activities and cake to celebrate what would be her 131 birthday.
