America’s Cup: Louis Vuitton Cup & Summer of Racing | July 4 – August 30

The Louis Vuitton Cup, the America’s Cup Challenger Series, is used as the selection series to determine who will race the Defender in the America’s Cup Finals. This is a round-robin racing series throughout July and August.

Where to Watch
The America’s Cup Park is located on Pier 27/29 and the America’s Cup Village at Marina Green.

Standing room is free from the shoreline, but tickets are required for bleacher seating. Screens will be located in both venues.

At the America’s Cup Park on Pier 27/29 you can also enjoy a free ride in the Flying on Water 4D AC72 simulator, learn about the science of sailing, meet athletes, relax in bean bags and listen to DJs in the Puma Yard, and play in the Kids’ Zone.

You can also view the races for free in person anywhere else along the Marina, Crissy Field, or from Angel Island.

On Sunday, July 21, 2013 come out to watch Emirates Team New Zealand and Luna Rossa Challenge face off in the last race of the third round robin of the Louis Vuitton Cup, the challenger series to see who will face Team Oracle in the finals. Yes, this is planned to be head-to-head racing which is scheduled to begin at 12:15 pm.

For prime viewing, we’re told you should head over to either the America’s Cup Park (Piers 27/29) or the America’s Cup Village (Marina Green).
