“Chic, dance-friendly, and shot through with mischievous sex appeal” (allmusic.com), The Lovemakers are a new wave band from Oakland. Dueling front-persons Lisa Light and Scott Blonde trade lead vocals, accompanied by Julia Johari on vintage synths, and drummer Michael Gorman.
