Come and explore the nourishing stillness of meditation (Theravada Buddhist tradition) with David Harcos on Wednesdays or Pauletta Chanco, OACC Artist in Residence on Thursdays.

You will learn to use the breath to tranquilize and calm the body, heart, and mind. After the 30 minute guided sitting meditation, an offering of one of the dharma teachings of the 10 Paramis (which are the qualities of heart and mind that lead to liberation, awakening, and compassion) will be given each session. Brief question and answer session will follow.
