Event Details

Join friends of the Richmond greenway, many community groups, and hundreds of other volunteers in honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for a day of service to the community.

Volunteer service projects will take place 9:00 – 12, and after a moment of silence, lunch will be served along with music, entertainment and inspirational speakers to enjoy the afternoon.

Help build a new public bicycle terrain park with Dirt World, plant trees with Groundwork Richmond, create a rain garden with the Watershed Project, beautify the Greenway trail and park, and much more.

Registration starts at 8:30 at two sign in locations:

  • At the Greenway and 20th St.
  • At the Greenway and 8th St.

Free but an RSVP is required.
