“Massagelicous” Picnic, Wild Dance Party & Hug-A-Thon | Dolores Park

Come down to Dolores Park to trade massages, enjoy live music, a Priestess Picnic, an alternative flash mob, flower mandalas and a raw food pop-up starting at noon on Sunday, July 13, 2014.

They will bring several massage tables, lots of comfy mattresses for the chill zone, and healthy vegan snacks – fruit, nuts, hummus, etc. You should bring your open heart, a great attitude, and perhaps an instrument or food to share.

Here’s what to expect:

• Trade massage – one on one, group massage, shoulder rub, foot massage – all are welcome. It is amazing to have three sets of hands working on you.
• Live Music – all singers and musicians should bring their instruments and voices
• Priestess Picnic – Emily Shurr, Jyoti SaeUn, Ama Nkwa & Megan Rose Woolever host
• Raw Foodies Pop-up – Sarah Jane Lockenmeyer & Maggie Taurick of The Living Life, Chef-Jillian Love and more
• Flower Mandalas – They will bring lots of wild flowers, berries, cones and such.
• 3 pm Flash Mob: A 5 minute harmonic toning, a 5 minute hug-a-thon, a 5 minute singalong and some wild dancing

‘Massagelicious’ will be on the south side of Mission Dolores Park (the north side is under construction). They’ve chosen an area by the entrance at Church St. & Cumberland St., next to the Helen Diller Playground. There are two tall beautiful trees and a circle of sturdy palm trees. Look for massage tables, a giant cuddle puddle and the rainbow tent.
