Come decorate the living Jerry Garcia Amphitheater Tree in McLaren Park on December 1, 2012 from 3-5 PM to help decorate the evergreen tree in the center.
Decorating a living tree is a custom dating back to the sixteenth century in northern Europe, where people honored the birds and beasts of the Nativity.
This is the “Elf Squad’s” way to celebrate the park and a fun ‘family and friends project’ during the holiday season.
Come decorate the beautiful living tree in the center of Jerry Garcia Amphitheater parking lot or just come to watch the Elf Squad add ornaments and a few treats for the birds in the park to enjoy.
