2013 Memorial Day Celebration & Free BBQ | San Anselmo

The American Legion Post 179 will be hosting its annual Memorial Day Celebration at the Log Cabin and Dugout Bar from 1-8 pm on May 27, 2013.

There will be a free BBQ and live music from California rock ‘n roll band, Honeydust. The event honors the nation’s veterans, but this is no solemn commemoration – drinking, dancing and bar games abound.

The Dugout Bar is a cash only with no ATM on site and no outside alcohol is not allowed. They do have free pool, shuffleboard, HD TVs and a jukebox.

While we don’t know the exact details for 2013 yet, in 2012, all vets got their first drink free with military ID. Stay tuned for more info.
