Mel Brooks’ classic Star Wars parody “Spaceballs“ (1987) gets the Rocky Horror treatment with a live shadow cast by The Bawdy Caste. Everyone will be there from Lone Starr and Princess Vespa to Dark Helmet himself performing live in front of the screen with costumes and effects.
Spaceballs – Fri & Sun, Aug 30 & Sept 1, 2013 with The Bawdy Caste performing live
The Bawdy Caste will be performing a live shadowcast of the famed Mel Brook’s Star Wars parody Spaceballs. Space heroes Lone Starr (Bill Pullman) and half man/half dog sidekick Barf (John Candy) set off to free Princess Vespa (Daphne Zuniga) from the evil clutches of Dark Helmet (Rick Moranis).
The Friday, Aug 30 performance will feature a live shadow cast throughout the film, while the Sunday, Sep 1 performance will feature only a preshow.
