The Bold Italic tipped us off to a fun way to spend your saturday… that is if you like innovative local artists, free pastries and free Blue Bottle Coffee!

Artist Nicole Buffett moves into the gallery at Candystore Collective for a one-month Novelita making residency from April 9 through May 9. Nicole will be on hand for Novelita making, readings, requests, tea and good times.

The Novelita is a 1×1 inch tall miniature book hand bound with a needle and thread made of brown packing paper. Each page is an ink drawn hand painted picture.

Opening Reception: Saturday April 9, 1pm: Opening Reception of Viva Novelita!. Complimentary coffee and pastries provided by Blue Bottle will be served along with Mimosas.
