Join the San Francisco Institute of Possibility for a party in your mouth as they host a Miracle Fruit party where they bring the Miracle Fruit berries, and you bring sour tasting foods from 7-9 pm on October 23, 2013.
What is Miracle Fruit? Miracle Fruit is a berry. When you eat it, an enzyme is released in your mouth that bonds to your tastebuds and changes the way things taste. Sour becomes sweet. It lasts for about an hour.
You know what a lemon tastes like, right? Or do you only think you know how a lemon tastes? What other things do you think you know that are simply a matter of accepted parameters? What other things that we think of impossible are actually possible?
FunCheap says: Some of us have been to a Miracle Fruit party before and you should prepare to have your mind and mouth blown. Recommended foods to bring include sour cream (you’ll want a big spoon for this one), vinegar flavored chips, lemons, limes and anything else sour that you have in your pantry.
