Join the 15th annual Martin Luther King Jr. community event “Make the Dream Real” in Oakland on the national MLK holiday, Monday, January 21, 2013.
The event encourages volunteerism, honors community members who are doing exemplary service in the Bay Area, showcases young artistic presentations and provides inspiring speeches by various notable keynote speakers.
The theme for this year’s MLK Holiday is “Elders Make the Dream Real for Educating Youth” with the keynote address given by Dr. Wade Nobles.
