Movember Fundraiser: Pints for Prostates | East Bay

Pyramid Brewery in Walnut Creek invites you to their Movember Party on Sunday, November 30, 2014.

Now, there’s no free beer here, but you can help support Pints for Prostates, a grassroots campaign that uses the universal language of beer to reach men with an important health message.

There are lots of fun ways to support the cause (and two of them are at no cost to you):

1. Purchase a growler or pint glass: $1 from every sale will be donated to Pints for Prostates.
2. Come to Mustache Mondays: Order the selected beer any time on Monday and they’ll donate $2 to Pints for Prostates. You also get to keep the pint glass.
3. Post photos of yourself or your mustachioed friends to our social media: Show them a photo of you drinking your favorite Pyramid beer with the hashtag #pyramidmovember and they’ll donate $1 for every photo posted.
4. Vote online in their staff mustache competition: Voting will start at the end of the month on our Facebook page for the best staff mustache. For each vote, they’ll donate $1

Pints for Prostates was founded in 2008 by beer writer and prostate cancer survivor Rick Lyke, the campaign raises awareness among men about the importance of regular health screenings and early detection by making appearances at beer events, social networking and pro bono advertising.
