Mustache Cinema: Diaries, Notes and Dreams | Mission Dist.
El Rio | 3158 Mission St. (@ Precita Ave.) , San Francisco, CA No Comment
This month at Mustache Cinema, join us for a selection of ‘diary films’ where the camera becomes the pen and the celluloid the paper. These works are personal expressions and visual sketchbooks constructed from the filmmaker’s most intimate moments. Fleeting memories and dreams are frozen in cinematic time as honest and loving 16mm portraits presented by Saul Levine, Su Friedrich, Michael Wallin and Stan Brakhage. Free Admission & Mustaches
About Mustache Cinema: Mustache Cinema is an artist-run, experimental film series hosted by El Rio on the first Wednesday of every month. Our 8mm/16mm film projections present artistic alternatives to commercial filmmaking and expose audiences to more thought provoking cinema. Mustache is dedicated to inspiring creative discussions about film, cultivating a friendly community and passing out fake mustaches at every show.
