“National Night Out” 250+ Bay Area Block Parties (2021)
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes community partnerships and neighborhood comradery with the goal of creating safer and stronger neighborhoods.
Every first Tuesday night in August we invite neighborhoods to host block parties that feature music, cookouts, contests, youth events, and visits from emergency personnel.
Meet your Neighborhood Policing Area (NPA) officers and members of the city council. You’ll see emergency response vehicles and equipment up close and more. It’s a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors and local first responders.
Participants include; Martinez Police Department Shell Refinery in Martinez, Martinez Education Foundation, participating businesses and more.
