“National Night Out” 250+ Bay Area Block Parties (2021)
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes community partnerships and neighborhood comradery with the goal of creating safer and stronger neighborhoods.
Every first Tuesday night in August we invite neighborhoods to host block parties that feature music, cookouts, contests, youth events, and visits from emergency personnel.
Come out to the Main Post for National Night Out – a chance for the park emergency personnel and neighbors to get to know each other. This is an event for the whole family.
This event includes police and fire vehicle displays, demonstrations by the K9 and motorcycle units, and a chance to meet the US Park Police Horse Mounted Patrol, a fingerprinting station, and more.
Skip the cooking and grab dinner from Off the Grid food trucks on the Main Post. Even better, avoid the traffic, and walk, ride your bike, or take public transportation.
Free, but an RSVP is encouraged.
