National Drive Electric Week 2017

National Drive Electric Week, September 9-17, 2017, is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today’s widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more.

Each event is led by local plug-in drivers and advocates and typically includes some combination of EV parades, ride-and-drives, electric tailgate parties, press conferences, award ceremonies, and informational booths

National Drive Electric Week 2017

Come celebrate the weekend of National Drive Electric Week with the nation’s largest electric vehicle event on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 10 am to 4 pm.

Free, but an RSVP and a short survey can get you a chance to win $250.

See an unmatched variety of plug-in cars, motorcycles, scooters, and bikes highlighting the fun, clean-air benefits, and cost-savings of EVs.

 2017 EV Rally & Show features:

  • The limited production GM EV-1, built between in the late 1990’s, which was available to California residents only on a lease. You can examine one of these pioneering cars when you visit the 50th Anniversary Electric Auto Association’s Rally and Drive Electric Week event.
  • On display from 10 am-4 pm, this car inspired other major OEM’s to make limited quantities of all electric cars which also will be displayed.
  • Join the fun and take a ride in the newest electric cars there for testing as well as display. The latest Nissan LEAF also will make a guest appearance – don’t miss that.
