2015 Native Plant Sale Extravaganza | East Bay
As part of the Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour, a number of native plant nurseries around the East Bay will be open for the Native Plant Sale Extravaganza.
Take advantage of this opportunity to shop for unique or hard-to-find native plants that are not normally available in most nurseries. Knowledgeable staff will be on hand to help shoppers select the right plants for their gardens.

Saturday-Sunday, May 2-3, 2015 | 10 am to 5 pm
All over East Bay
FREEIn 2015, nine nurseries are participating in Alameda, Berkeley, Concord, Half Moon Bay, Oakland, Richmond and San Leandro.
2015 highlights include:
- Berkeley – Native Here Nursery, 101 Golf Course Dr., Tilden Park (across from the Golf Course) Berkeley, (510) 549-0211.
Garden Talk: 11 am to 3 pm “How to select native plants for your garden.”- Berkeley – Oaktown Native Plant Nursery, 702 Channing Way, Berkeley (at Channing and Fourth Street, across from Vik’s Chaat Corner).
Garden Talk: 1:00 ” Native Garden Design Primer- Concord – Markham Nature Park and Arboreteum, 1202 La Vista Ave., Concord.
Garden Talk: 10:30 “Trends for 2015 in East Bay native plant gardens”- Richmond -The Watershed Nursery, 601 A Canal Blvd. Richmond, (510) 234-2222.
Garden Talk: 1:30-2:30 “Gardening with Native Plants: Habitat, Water and Soil”
