2017 OktoberFest: Live Bavarian Music, Dancing, Food & Beer | Newark

The Newark Chamber of Commerce brings the 5th Annual Newark OktoberFest to Swiss Park on Saturday, September 30, 2017.

OktoberFest will feature live Bavarian music, dancing, games, excellent German beers, and authentic Oktoberfest cuisine including bratwurst, sauerkraut and apple strudel.

Signature German brews will include Bitburger Pilsner (Germany’s #1 Draft Pilsner), Kostritzer (Germany’s #1 Black Lager), Benediktiner Bavarian Hefe-Weizen, and many more.

Come be German for a day. Dress up in your dirndls and lederhosen, practice your Polka dancing, and come join in for this fun-filled day. Admission is $5 for ages 6+. 

What’s new this year?

This year the celebration continues in the evening in the spacious Swiss Park Banquet Hall, at Newark OktoBEERfest After Dark – where most of the same fun and games continue into the night – but the music will get you rockin’ and on the dance floor – interspersed, of course, with choruses of favorite German drinking songs. Tickets are $10 each and you must be 21 or older to get in.
