Louella Hill, SF Milk Maid and cheesemonger extraordinaire, has turned her workshop know-how into an comprehensive new cookbook Kitchen Creamery: Making Yogurt, Butter, and Cheese at Home. Join us at the Booksmith for a night of sampling cheeses, tippling wine, and learning the techniques of transforming milk into deliciousness.

Louella Hill is a member of the California Artisan Cheese Guild and a professional cheesemaker. As the Milk Maid, she teaches sold-out classes on cheesemaking in San Francisco, California.
