Nightlife on Mars is a weekly comedy show at Murphy’s Pub, produced by local comics Joe Nguyen, Red Scott, and Natasha Muse.

The three members of Nightlife on Mars are the triptych that represents the spiritual base of the San Francisco comedy scene. Between them, they’ve performed with comic talents ranging from Robin Williams to Wyatt Cenac, and have been featured by the SF Weekly, The Daily Mail, and KALW.

The show takes place in a private room in Murphy’s Pub.

Guests for the 9/27 show include:

Trevor Hill – Trevor Hill is a semi-talented stand-up comedian from San Francisco, CA. He’s funny in the wrong kind of way. I have never personally witnessed his “comedy” act, but I hear he mostly does impressions of recently deceased celebrities and anthropomorphic barnyard mammals with a few “chode jokes” sprinkled in between.

David Nguyen – David Nguyen is a stand-up comedian and writer. If you ask what made him want to be a comedian, he’ll reply, “arrogance”. Absurd or dark – David will joke about any topic with a biting wit.

Tom Smith – Born in San Francisco yet raised in the suburban jungles of San Jose, California. He was an awkward child who grew to awkward manhood and has been described as a highly literate suburban redneck nerd, and that was by a friend. He was a semi-finalist in the 2007 ‘Battle of the Bay’ comedy competition at the San Jose Improv and was named by the East Bay Express as the number one reason to visit their ‘Best Comedy Club in the East Bay’ winner for 2008.

Griffin Daley – Comedian, Actor, Writer, Bay Area fixture.
