Matt Morales | CANCELED: “Nightlife on Mars” Comedy Night | SF

Comedy Lineup | June 6, 2013

  • Matt Morales – Matt Morales has been a staple of the Bay Area Stand-Up Comedy Scene since 2002.  He is a regular performer at the San Francisco Punch Line, Cobb’s Comedy Club and has appeared at SF Sketchfest, Portland’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival and Scotland’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
  • John Hoogasian – John Hoogasian is the best-kept comedy secret weapon. A wit honed to a razor’s edge through years of sacrifice propels Johnnie’s creative flow. Immediately accessible and fresh, Hoggie’s style is both pioneering and classic. He tailors his sets to the harmonics of his audience. His fearless on-stage adventures challenge the audience to be with him in the moments. He will engage anyone, anywhere with his own unique hand-to-hand banter. In a world fraught with real and imagined danger, he creates an escape route that invites kindred spirits along. His pathos has resonance across all of humanity.
  • Sam Davidoff – Sam launched his stand-up comedy career as a 14-year old middle school student during a show at his local synagogue. As the youngest headliner at San Francisco’s Punch Line Comedy Club, Sam continues to share his candid and hilariously funny world view across multiple successful comedy tours he co-created including The Young Guns of Comedy, Self-Esteem(Less) Comedy and The Avengers of Comedy. A San Francisco native, Sam has opened for comedians such as Dwayne Perkins, Nick Griffin, and Greg Proops. Sam has recently entered the new craze of button collecting and free-form popcorn sculpture. He has a high school diploma and lives in New York.
  • Jason Mack – Jason’s fresh, witty writing and charmingly awkward personality have made him a rising star in Northern California’s comedy scene. His adjustment from service as a United States Naval Aircrewman into life as a struggling college student, in the “slightly less conservative” city of San Francisco, further shaped his dry, biting, and dark, but silly comic voice.  His subjects vary from navigating the broken Veterans Affairs Health Care system to his father being an alcoholic woodland mammal. He produces many successful shows, including the “Operation: Funny” tour benefiting fellow veterans. He’s been showcased from coast to coast, including such famous basements as San Francisco’s Purple Onion and NYC’s Gotham Comedy Club.
