Guests for the 8/15 show include:

Josef Anolin – Josef was born and raised in Oakland, CA thanks to his parents. Josef likes to tell jokes that offer audiences fresh perspectives on “hot button” issues like race, class, gender that are simultaneously respectful and tounge in cheek offensive. Josef has been peddling his humor to audiences throughout the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii and may have been the first comedian to do a joke about NY Knicks Point Guard, Jeremy Lin (albeit back in 2010 when he was still a Golden State Warrior and irrelevant).

Michael Capozzola – Michael is a San Francisco-based comedian and cartoonist. He’s contributed to Mad Magazine, The New York Times and National Lampoon. Each year, Michael produces and hosts the Cartoon Art Museum’s annual “Comics for Comix” comedy fundraiser which he conceived as well. Born and raised in New Rochelle, NY Michael subsisted on comic books and chocolate until he took up comedy and caffeine. He created his own comedy studies major while at Ithaca College.

Erik Krasner – The former Editor in Chief of The Heuristic Squelch, Erik Krasner, joined the proud tradition of Squelch staff members to step into the world of stand up comedy. Erik works tirelessly to right the wrongs of the world, or at least to stop them from inconveniencing him quite so much. Erik produces the bimonthly Squelch comedy shows on the UC Berkeley campus.

Rich Dreyling – Smart enough to be a linguist, but dumb enough to join the Marine Corps during a Republican administration, he uses his working class Midwestern background and his Berkeley education to form a point of view on the world that will not fit in anywhere. San Franciscans call him, “obstreperous, and retarded.” Or they would if they used those words. Midwesterners, marines, and his family call him a “hippy elitist Obama lover.” Somewhere in it all, he manages to piss off both sides of the spectrum, though not always equally.
