CANCELED: “Nightlife on Mars” Comedy Night | SF

Nightlife on Mars is a weekly comedy show at Murphy’s Pub, produced by local comics Joe Nguyen, Red Scott, and Natasha Muse.

The three members of Nightlife on Mars are the triptych that represents the spiritual base of the San Francisco comedy scene. Between them, they’ve performed with comic talents ranging from Robin Williams to Wyatt Cenac, and have been featured by the SF Weekly, The Daily Mail, and KALW.

Drew Harmon | CANCELED: “Nightlife on Mars” Comedy Night | SF

Guests for the 11/7 show includes:

• Drew Harmon – Drew Harmon is a comedian, writer and one-time Bay Area Traffic and Weather TV reporter. Drew has been performing standup for more than six years to varying degrees of success and humility and is the creator and writer of the San Francisco Burger Blog, which was named one of the top ten Burger sites on the web, although they also said it was “very weird.”
• Chris Remmers – Chris Remmers is a stand-up comedian performing throughout the San Francisco Bay area. He has performed at the San Jose Improv, San Francisco Punch Line, Rooster T. Feathers, and Comedy Off Broadway Oakland.
• Sandra Risser – Sandra’s impressive credits include one woman shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Scotland; Brighton Fringe Festival, England, Santa Cruz Festival and Rogue Festival, Fresno CA. She made appearances on the stages of The World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas NV and the Sacramento Comedy Festival, Sacramento CA. She was the winner of Killer Laughs, Go Baby Productions Winner Take All and Battle of the Sexes Comedy Competitions.
• Torio Van Grol – Torio Van Grol is a Californian comedian. He is aware that that saying you’re from California is a bit broad, but he doesn’t want to hurt the feelings of other cities, by saying he’s from just one of them (Except Chico, he doesn’t really care about Chico.) Having been born in Los Angeles, raised in San Diego, educated in Sonoma, and heartbroken in Yosemite, he considers himself somewhat of a California expert.
• Iris Benson – Iris Benson has, for the most part accomplished nothing. She is comedian because no other profession will have her and that includes drug dealing and prostitution.
