Nightlife on Mars Underground Comedy Night: Caitlin Gill | SFNightlife on Mars is an underground comedy club at Murphy’s Pub produced and hosted by Ryan Cronin. It’s a free weekly showcase of local (and sometimes national) comedy talent right in the heart of downtown San Francisco.

Nightlife on Mars Underground Comedy Night: Caitlin Gill | SFComedy Lineup: April 25, 2013

  • Caitlin Gill – Caitlin was a performer at the Outside Lands Festival in 2012, she has been in SF Sketchfest every year since 2007, performed in the Vancouver Global Comedy Fest, was host of the 2009 SF Women’s Comedy Competition and The Ladies Room Open Mic and Showcase. Her writing has been featured in a Believer Magazine project for 826LA.
  • Shanti Charan – Shanti Charan’s bubbly personality and contagious smile lure in audiences and her comedic abilities keeps them laughing. She is a fast-rising fresh face in the Bay Area comedy scene. Her ability to formulate quick connections makes it easy for her to communicate with diverse audiences. She won 1st place in the 2011 Rooster T Feather’s Comedy Competition and participated in the 2011 San Francisco International Comedy Competition where she advanced to the semi-finals.
  • Brendan Lynch – Brendan Lynch performs at comedy clubs all over the Bay Area including the Punchline in San Francisco and the Improv in San Jose. He has worked with comedians such as Norm MacDonald and Mike Birbiglia.
  • Loren Kraut – Loren grew up in New Jersey and has held numerous jobs – including, briefly, housekeeper for a high-class brothel in NYC. Her style is laid-back and somewhat dark, covering such subjects as her obsessive-compulsive disorder and anorexia, or writing the perfect suicide note.
  • Hector Rodriguez – Host and producer of the Off Color Comedy Showcase. Latin Comic performing all over the bay area including The Impala Lounge, Purple Onion, Kimo’s, Tommy Ts, Rooster Ts, Rocket Room and every open mic or showcase on his way.
  • Pam Benjamin – Pam Benjamin is a writer living in San Francisco. She was awarded her MA in Fiction in 2010 and is almost done with her MFA in Poetry because she likes little framed pieces of paper to hang in her kitchen.
