CANCELED: 2017 “So Mush Fun” Sled Dog Races | North Bay

Unfortunately, this event had to be canceled by the event organizers.

Come watch NorSled’s 7th annual “So Mush Fun Fundraiser,” a timed bike, scooter, sulky (this is like a mini-chariot) and cart races around the 2 mile Lagoon Valley Park in Vacaville. This may be their last year so don’t miss out on all the fun.

Northern California Sled Dog Rescue (NorSled) rescues, fosters and rehomes unwanted, abandoned and abused Northern breed dogs: Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Samoyeds, and mixes of these breeds.

The event is free to watch, but if you want to bring your pups and race, there is a registration fee, plus a beginners musher’s class, NorSled t shirts, raffle baskets and silent auction items.

Fees: $25 early registration is available until September 28. On the day of registration is $35 per event. All dog breeds are welcome to the fundraiser. All proceeds from this event will go to the dogs they rescue and in the past year, NorSled rescued 260 northern breed dogs.
