Did you think that they just go to their local nursery and pick up the over 100,000 plants to use in restoration projects each year? Wrong.

To kick-off the nursery series, join Alisa Shor (Director of Park Nurseries) to learn what is involved in producing our native plant crops each year, including how we collect and treat seed, spore, and cuttings for 400 plant species native to the park! After being raised with care in the nurseries, these native plants will go to the many restoration and stewardship sites in the park.

The class will be held at Presidio Nursery, one of the biggest nurseries in the park. Free but an RSVP is required.
