Libros Libres Oakland has been hosting pop-up free bookstore events around town for the past year. Now they’re teaming up with Lisa Aurora of Naming Gallery and Tilde to bring the first free bookstore to Oakland.
This cozy space is opening for the public on July 13, 2014. Come by around 7:30 pm for an evening of free books, adult beverages, and some spontaneous readings.
Over the past year, Libros Libres has popped up at Latham Square, the Diamond District, and Jack London, giving away shelf-fulls of free books.
