Oakland Mural Festival: Pop-Up Gallery Opening | 2018

The Oakland Mural Festival presented by BAMFest will open their PopUp Gallery on Friday, April 27th at 54 Washington St. from 6p-9p. The gallery will be open for the month of May, which is Oakland Art Month.

There will be weekday events with music and dance (schedule to be announced) in addition to regular hours of operation on the weekends. The gallery will show the studio work of the muralists painting in the Oakland Mural Festival to get a behind the scenes glimpse of these artists private studio practice. Many of these works will be fore sale. The gallery will also be the hub for the Oakland Mural Festival and be open daily during the festival week May 12-19th.

Visitors can stop by to see the art, ask questions about the project and grab a map of the murals.
