Obsolete Californias: Installation & Event Series | SF
Obsolete Californias is a two-week-long installation and event series exploring the relics and customs of Californias that no longer exist and proposing contemporary opportunities for exchange.
Events will include movies, speakers, DJs, workshops and even a wrestling match.
The installation is presented by Shipping & Receiving and will be at StoreFrontLab January 9-25, 2013.
Join a screening of and conversation about two films about late early San Francisco: Barbary Coast (1935) starring Miriam Hopkins and San Francisco (1936) with Clark Gable and Jeanette MacDonald.
