Opera on Tap: Non-stuffy Opera Sung Live in a Bar | SF
Opera on Tap is a non-profit organization whose mission is to break down the stereo-type that opera is a stuffy or an elitist art form, by bringing it to bars.
Local singers let their hair down and bring you into what feels like an after hours back stage party, singing some of opera’s best known and little known pieces in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
They have a monthly residency at Trendyloin neighborhood bar, Cafe Royale, and partner with local chamber music groups to create evenings filled with laughter, warmth and most importantly, great music.
