Original Famous Twang Sundays is a free, all-ages concert series at Thee Parkside in Potrero Hill.
Come by every Sunday; there’s always a fresh traditional or contemporary live act and a surprise special to purchase from the kitchen.
Sunday, August 24th, Original Famous Twang Sundays welcomes Tough Brothers and Bar Fight to Thee Parkside.
Tough Brothers are trans-pacific SF/Melbz country stylin troubadours. Starting in Melbourne as a two-piece combo, the blokes moved over to the Bay Area and added some punch with all-American good guys, The Patriot, Eli & Abe. Somewhere along the line, the working class Aussie sound got countrified and now The Tough Brothers are a combination of Country/Americana/Australiana. Come check out the live show for some Tough Love.
Joining them on stage are local country outfit Bar Fight. Formed in a secret shack on the beach, Bar Fight has built a reputation for putting on an inspired live show. Through danger and heartache, they assault the stage and deliver a reckless yet reverent brand of coastal country that is sure to groove.
